Hi, I’m Lena
“I make colourful drawings on my phone, work with textiles, glass and all kinds of different media in Berlin. I am fascinated by personal relationships and how they make me feel. I express this through abstract shapes and colours, but also objects. I love to play around with different symbols like eyes, mouths, hands, finger nails, fruits, plants and fashion accessories - and see what they mean to me. I like making art that makes people think and feel things. My art is inspired by subjects like nature, my childhood, family, fashion and literature - a lot of existential stuff. My works mostly reflect my perceptions and emotions, in my art memories of the past and experiences of the present are being weaved together.”
